Health Care Debit Card

A health care debit card can be issued to members under a qualified HSA plan. The card can be used with medical providers and at pharmacies to transfer funds from the HSA for payment of health care services. In order for such accounts to properly qualify for tax-advantaged treatment, the administration of the debit card payments must meet IRS requirements.
